Arithmos Lite Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the manner in which we collect, use, maintain and disclose information collected from Users of our Services, Websites, and mobile apps (“Apps”) available on Google Play, the Amazon App-Shop and the Microsoft Windows Store.

The aim of this Policy is to:

  1. Ensure that you understand what personal data we collect about you, the reasons why we collect and use it, and who we share it with;
  2. Explain the way we use the personal data that you share with us in order to give you a great experience when you are using our Apps; and
  3. Explain your rights and choices in relation to the personal data we collect and process about you and how we will protect your privacy.

Alternatively, if you do not agree with the content of this Policy, then please remember it is your choice whether you want to use our Apps.
  1. What personal data do we collect from our Users and why? 
    1. When you use or interact with our Apps, we may use a variety of technologies to process the personal data we collect about you for various reasons. We have set out in the list below the kind of personal data we may collect and the reasons why we process them:
      1. Most of the user data is retained in the phone and none are taken into our servers except with google admob for ads and google firebase for app functionality.
    2. – To improve our Apps
      1. We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Apps, for example to make data-driven decisions about new features.
      2. Personal data that may be collected: Instance IDs, Vendor ID.
      3. Data may be transferred to the following third parties: Firebase (Google’s mobile platform).
    3. – To show you personalized ads
      1. Personal data that may be collected: Advertising ID. 
      2. The Advertising ID is required to show ads that are relevant to your interests.
      3. Data may be transferred to the following third parties: Google Admob.
      4. Legal basis for processing
        1. Our legal basis for collecting and processing the data described above will depend on the data concerned and the specific context in which we collect and process it. We collect and process personal data only where we have your consent (Art. 6 para 1 lit. a) GDPR) or where we have a legitimate interest to do so.
    4. Non-personal identification information
      1. The App may collect non-personal identification information whenever you interact with it. Non-personal identification information may include the language and the OS version of your device or similar information.
    5. Data retention and deletion
      1. We keep our users personal data only as long as necessary to provide them with the service and for legitimate and essential business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the Apps, making data-driven business decisions about new features, and complying with our legal obligations.
      2. If you request, we will delete your personal data, unless we are legally allowed or required to keep the data.
    6. Revoking consent
      1. Whenever we require your consent to use your data, we will also provide a way to opt-in and opt-out easily from within the app, at any time. The opt-out mechanism can usually be found on the Settings screen or on the “About” screen (depending on the app and on your device).
    7. Transfer to other countries
      1. We may share your personal data with other companies located in countries other than your home country in order to carry out the activities specified in this Policy. Personal data collected within the European Economic Area (EEA) may, for example, be transferred to and processed by third parties located in a country outside of the EEA. In such instances we shall ensure that the transfer of your personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable privacy laws and, in particular, that appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational measures are in place such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU Commission.
    8. How we protect your information 
      1. We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of our users personal information.We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

Please note that if the App does not collect data that requires your consent (for example if it collects only non-personal identification information, or if we have a legitimate interest to collect the data), there may not be any privacy settings.

Any third party with whom the App shares your data – such as analytics tools and advertising networks, as well as any parent, subsidiary or other related entities that will have access to your data – will provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Policy and as required Google Play Developer Agreement.

Changes to this Policy

We may occasionally make changes to this Policy.When we make changes to this Policy, and these changes have an impact on the way you are using our Apps at the time of the change, we will provide you with notice as appropriate under the circumstances, e.g. by displaying a notice within the Apps you are currently using.

Please, therefore, make sure you read any such notice carefully.

Your acceptance of these terms 

By using our Apps, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use our Apps. Your continued use of our Apps following the posting of changes to this Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
