Delete Your Account

Pharmoice

  • Delete in the app: Account, then the menu
  • Or email us to delete the account
  • Cloud backups deleted within 30 days
  • You choose to keep or erase bills on your phone

You can delete your Pharmoice account, and the data linked to it, from inside the app or by asking Ova Animations, the developer of the Pharmoice app on Google Play. You have an account if you signed in with Google in the app. Your account holds your cloud backups and your subscription status. If you never signed in, nothing about you is stored on our servers. See "Bills on your phone" below.

Delete in the App

  1. Sign in to Pharmoice with Google, then open the Account screen.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu next to your name, then tap Delete account.
  3. Choose whether to also erase all bills and data on this phone. This is off by default.
  4. Tick "I understand this can't be undone" and type DELETE.
  5. Tap Delete account.

The app needs an internet connection. If it can't reach our servers, it stops and nothing is deleted. You stay signed in and can try again. Once the app has recorded your request, it signs you out and deletes your account data. Data the app can't reach is removed by us within 30 days. See "Data that is deleted" below.

Delete by Email

Use this if you can't use the app, for example if you uninstalled it or lost your phone.

  1. Send an email to ova.anim@gmail.com from the Google account email you use to sign in to Pharmoice. This is how we confirm that the account is yours.
  2. Use the subject "Delete my Pharmoice account". You don't need to write anything else.
  3. We create the deletion request for you. Your account and data will be deleted within 30 days.

Email ova.anim@gmail.com

If you can't send from that address, email us from another one and include the sign-in email. We may ask you to verify that the account is yours before we delete anything.

Other Devices

Deleting your account signs you out of Pharmoice on the phone you used only. It does not sign you out on other phones. If you use Pharmoice on more than one device, sign out of Pharmoice on the other devices first. If you sign in again on a device after deleting, a new account is created there.

Data That Is Deleted

Deleted by the app when you delete the account:

  • Your sign-in account (Google sign-in link)
  • Your account profile and usage data, including the subscription status stored with it
  • Your sign-in and backup settings on this phone

Deleted by us within 30 days:

  • Your cloud backups, from every device
  • The key that encrypts your cloud backups
  • The account data stored under your sign-in account
  • Your entitlements record (loyalty and purchase benefits)
  • The purchase records we store for your account
  • Your sign-in account, if the app could not delete it

If you delete by email, we delete all of the above within 30 days.

Data That Is Kept

  • Purchases and subscriptions: Google Play keeps its own records of what you bought. We can't delete them. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, and Google Play keeps billing you until you cancel. To cancel, open the Play Store and go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. If you have an active subscription, the delete dialog warns you and shows a Manage subscriptions button.
  • Your deletion request: we keep a record of the request (account identifier, dates and status) after the deletion is finished. We remove the profile identifiers and the hash of your email from it.

Bills on Your Phone

Your bills, notes, settings and PDFs are stored on your phone. In the delete dialog you choose what happens to them:

  • Keep (default): your bills stay on this phone. The app stops sending usage data to your account profile until you sign in again.
  • Erase: the app erases all bills and data on this phone, including your PIN and settings, and restarts as if newly installed. Your cloud backups are deleted too, so this data can't be recovered.

We can't reach the data on your phone. To remove it later, uninstall Pharmoice, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Pharmoice → Storage and tap Clear storage.

For more about the data the app collects, read the Pharmoice Privacy Policy.
