Ova Animations built Signal Stickers Directory, a free app for browsing public Signal sticker packs and opening them in Signal. It includes a catalog of about 3,200 packs. This policy explains what the app does with information. In short, the developer collects none.
The app is not affiliated with Signal Messenger.
What We Collect
The developer collects no personal data. Nothing is sent to the developer's servers; there are none for this app. The app has no account or sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking. The Android advertising ID permission is removed.
This matches the Data safety section of the app's Google Play listing: no data collected and no data shared.
Network Requests
To show pack covers and sticker previews, the app downloads public sticker pack data and sticker images directly from Signal's servers (cdn.signal.org and cdn-ca.signal.org) over HTTPS. These requests contain no personal information or identifiers from the app. As with any internet request, Signal's servers receive your device's IP address and standard request details. Signal's privacy policy applies to that.
Information Stored on Your Device
The following stays on your device only:
- Your favorites list
- Your app settings (theme, dynamic color and whether stickers play animations)
- A cache of downloaded images. You can empty it with "Clear cache" in Settings.
If you have Android backup or device-to-device transfer turned on, your favorites and settings may be included in it. Google and Android handle that under your backup settings, not the developer.
Links and Sharing
These happen only when you tap them:
- "Add to Signal" opens the Signal app, or Google Play to install Signal if it is missing.
- "Share" opens the Android share sheet with a signal.art link, and you choose the app to share with.
- Source and credit links open in your browser.
Those apps and sites have their own privacy policies.
Permissions

Sticker Content
Stickers are created by third parties and belong to their creators. Pack listings come from the signalstickers/stickers data set, which is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
Data Deletion
The developer holds no user data, so there is nothing to request. To remove the data stored on your device, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. The app collects no personal information from anyone.
