You can ask Ova Animations, the developer of the Videos Collection app on Google Play, to delete your account and the data linked to it. You only have an account if you signed in to the app with Google. If you never signed in, nothing about you is stored outside your device. See "Data on your device" below.
- Send an email to ova.anim@gmail.com from the Google account email you use to sign in to Videos Collection. This is how we confirm that the account is yours.
- Use the subject "Delete my Videos Collection account". You don't need to write anything else.
- We will reply to confirm that we received your request. Your account and data will be deleted within 30 days, and we will email you when it is done.
If you can't send from that address, email us from another one and include the sign-in email. We may ask you to verify that the account is yours before we delete anything.
If you have a Premium subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. To stop future charges, cancel it in the Google Play Store app under Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
When we delete your account, we permanently remove all of the following from our servers (Google Firebase):
- Your sign-in account: account identifier, email address, display name and profile photo URL
- Your profile record, including your Premium status
- Every video and audio item you saved: link, title, thumbnail, channel name, date added and last played
- Your folders and sections, including any public folders and their ratings. Other users will no longer be able to see them
- Watch Together rooms you host, and your account identifier and display name in rooms you joined
- Backups: deleted data can remain in Google Cloud's internal backups until they expire, which can take up to about 6 months. Nobody uses or restores these copies.
- Purchase records: Premium subscriptions are processed and recorded by Google Play, not by us. Google keeps these records under the Google Privacy Policy. We never receive your payment details.
- Your deletion request: we keep the emails about your request for up to 90 days after the deletion is finished, so we can answer questions about it. Then we delete them.
Your library is also stored on your phone, so it works offline. We can't reach this copy. To remove it, uninstall Videos Collection, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Videos Collection → Storage and tap Clear storage. Signing out of the app stops syncing but does not delete your synced data or the copy on your device.
You can delete individual videos, audio items, folders and sections in the app at any time. When you are signed in, deleting them in the app also removes them from our servers. If you want specific data removed and can't do it in the app, email ova.anim@gmail.com and tell us what to delete.
