You can delete your Arithmos account, and the data linked to it, from inside the app or by asking Ova Animations, the developer of the Arithmos app on Google Play. You only have an account if you signed in with Google, which the app needs for leaderboards, ELO duels, friends and rooms. Drills and levels need no account. If you never signed in, nothing about you is stored outside your device. See "Data on your device" below.

Delete in the App

  1. Open Arithmos and go to Settings.
  2. Tap "delete account" and confirm with your Google account.

The app deletes your data and your sign-in account right away. Anything the app couldn't reach, for example your entry in other players' friends lists, is removed by us within 30 days.

Delete by Email

  1. Send an email to ova.anim@gmail.com from the Google account email you use to sign in to Arithmos. This is how we confirm that the account is yours.
  2. Use the subject "Delete my Arithmos account". You don't need to write anything else.
  3. We will reply to confirm that we received your request. Your account and data will be deleted within 30 days, and we will email you when it is done.

If you can't send from that address, email us from another one and include the sign-in email. We may ask you to verify that the account is yours before we delete anything.

Simple Carroms Shares Your Sign-In

One Google account signs in to both Arithmos and Simple Carroms. Deleting your Arithmos account deletes that shared sign-in account, so you are signed out of Simple Carroms too. Your Simple Carroms purchases belong to Google Play and come back when you sign in again. Carrom coins and board designs are stored on your phone. Data That Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove all of the following from our servers (Google Firebase):

  • Your sign-in account: account identifier, email address, name, profile photo URL and sign-in dates
  • Your profile: gamer id, Google name, country, avatar, ELO rating and games played, and your best scores
  • Your friends list, your rival and ELO head-to-head records, rematch challenges, invites and results inbox
  • Your leaderboard entries
  • Your queued ELO duel runs
  • Rooms you host, and your place in rooms you joined
  • Your gamer id reservation
  • Older copies of your profile, from before accounts used a sign-in identifier
  • Your entries in other players' friends and rival lists, invites and results
  • The record of Simple Carroms purchases mirrored for the shared account

Data That Is Kept

  • ELO match records: the account identifiers and scores of the two players in each ELO match are kept, so other players' ratings stay correct. After deletion the identifier no longer leads to any account or name.
  • Backups: deleted data can remain in Google Cloud's internal backups until they expire, which can take up to about 6 months. Nobody uses or restores these copies.
  • Analytics and crash data: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is never linked to your account.
  • Advertising data: ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects data under its own policy and not on our servers. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Purchases: your Arithmos subscription is owned by Google Play, which keeps its own records. Manage it in the Play Store.
  • Your deletion request: we keep the emails and a record of the request (account identifier and dates) for up to 90 days after the deletion is finished, so we can answer questions about it. Then we delete them.

Data on Your Device

Your levels, drill history, pet and settings are stored only on your phone. We can't reach this data. To remove it, uninstall Arithmos, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Arithmos Game → Storage and tap Clear storage. If Android backup is on, Android may also keep a copy in your Google account's backup, which we can't access either.

Deleting Some Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can remove friends in the app. To have particular leaderboard entries deleted, email ova.anim@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Arithmos scores" and the drills concerned. We will delete them within 30 days and keep your account.
